What is Consultantsboard?
Consultantsboard is a new global job board where management and technology consultancy professionals can find relevant jobs and career advice.
We are proud to be partnering with the Management Consultancies Association (www.mca.org.uk), the Institute of Consulting (www.iconsulting.org.uk) and the Chartered Management Institute (www.managers.org.uk). From March 2011 Consultantsboard will power jobs across all of our partner sites.

www.consultantsboard.com is built on a proprietary platform which enables users to browse specialist consultancy jobs, career advice content, and participate and share in groups and discussion forums.

Jobs
Our aim is to provide consultancy professionals with the most comprehensive job search function in the market.
The site enables users to perform detailed searches within their specialisms: the consultancy market is broken down into management consultancy, technology consultancy, outsourcing, CRM and supply chain. Each of these disciplines can be further interrogated by specialisations, industry and job roles.
Geographically jobs can be added and searched globally by region, country and specific location.
Users can also register to receive jobs by email, or upload their CVs to the Consultantsboard CV database.
Content
As well as relevant jobs our model enables the publication of hundreds of career advice articles, videos and podcasts to our sites. Changeboard currently partners with over 100 organisations to provide regular content for the site, including consultancies and business schools.
The focus of the content is ‘career advice’, categorized under three main areas: Jobseeker, Career development and Leadership & management. Our user-generated model has inspired more than 3,000 unique articles which have been added to Changeboard sites in the last 12 months.
The organisation profiles on Consultantsboard enable employers, recruiters and search firms to upload information about career opportunities, their culture, values and how they
work. They can also integrate live feeds from their corporate blog, Tweets, LinkedIn and Facebook profiles, as well as videos, pdfs and other content to promote their brand and thought leadership as they seek to attract talented professionals. Jobseekers have
identified this employer information as the most valuable type of content on job boards alongside relevant jobs (source: NORAS 2011).
Community
Consultantsboard’s proprietary software enables groups and discussion forums to be launched by users of the site with an advanced set of tools to help professionals communicate, inspire, collaborate, network and share.
The tools and functions available to users of Consultantsboard include:
- the ability to create and populate individual and organisation career profiles with videos, podcasts, and live links to other social media profiles such as Linkedin and Facebook, as well as feeds of Tweets and blog postings
- the ability to launch polls within groups and show real time polling and feedback
- tools to create a photo gallery within groups, make announcements, publicise events, or seed/search discussion threads.
