Our client has a dedicated Programme Leadership practice and is looking to make a number of hires into their Financial Services industry team. They are looking for exceptional individuals at a range of levels who have Project and Programme Management experience with FS knowledge. Candidates can be either working for a consulting firm or come directly from the Financial Services sector.
The Programme Leadership team takes a holistic approach to the delivery of projects and programmes in complex organisations. It aligns projects with overall strategic objectives, and transforms business strategy into a coordinated portfolio of initiatives. This enables the development and implementation of new processes and systems as well as building on the skills and abilities of people.
The key areas of the Programme Leadership practice are;
• Strategy Translation
• Programme Management
• Project Management
• Programme Architecture
This role involves:
• Assisting with the design and development of a programme or project initiative.
• Leading on specific programme or project management disciplines e.g. benefit tracking, issue / risk management, business case development.
• Applying programme or project management tools and techniques appropriately in client engagements including identifying programme or project issues and proposing resolution strategies.
• Creating effective communications messages using appropriate channels for the management of programme stakeholders.
• Supporting engagement management, including developing fee estimates, managing budgets and billing clients.
• Business development work, including the preparation of bids and proposals.
Outstanding academic achievements are a must, with a minimum 2:1 degree from a reputable university.
